KK LARGE & MEDIUM LONG AIO A fabulous night (or day) nappy;ideal for heavy wetters 3 layer BKT soaker and a snap in  booster of BKT and bamboo,adjustable to give absorbency where most needed; closure is with polyacetal snaps in the special KK configuration to reduce wing droop.BKT is faster drying than bamboo and absorbs faster; a nappy with bamboo inside takes a long time to dry and you can never be sure it has fully dried, therefore we use the bamboo in the snap in booster so you can wash it separately, and BKT as the concealed soaker pad.Booster is our long double bamboo version which can be folded (instructions included) to suit a boy or girl. POSSUM POUCHES MULTI-USE WOOL BOOSTER  KKs should not leak if they are boosted correctly and fit properly; however if you have concerns about a very heavy wetter you may like to add one of our special wool boosters as described below Available now- a wool booster designed to be attached to soaker or longies via the waistband cord and fitting between the back and front waists within the crotch area. This doubles the thickness of  the soaker in the area where it is needed for heavy wetters and negates the need for bulky thick wool in the whole soaker. It can be flipped out for faster drying, again  an advantage over slow drying thicker wool. It can also be used over a nappy or AIO, between   the nappy and the outer garment-bodysuit,pants,cover either just as a lay in woollen booster, or with a tie cord to hold it round the waist. OTHER KK Nappies ® Also available  as time permits- Embroidered nappies and fabric trimmed nappies Wool and Cashmere KK (illustrated left in beautiful soft grey cashmere) Embroidery by machine uses thousands of stitches which may weaken the fabric area and reduce the lifespan of the nappy  when combined with frequent laundering plus constant wetting with urine. Embroidered  nappies are best suited to special occasions. Embroidered OOAK nappies listed as time permits Wool KK is 2  full body layers wool or cashmere and also has a concealed soaker layer of the same wool fabric. It can be used as a cover but was designed to be used as an AI2 by snapping in our registered design boostable booster or our standard snap in booster. KK Windpro nappies are the ideal Night nappy. Because the fabrics are the highest quality MM windpro and fleece they need only a few layers of bamboo in a booster, unless your child is an extremely heavy wetter in which case an extra piece  of absorbent fabric can be folded inside the trifold snap-in booster. Many nappies being marketed as night nappies are really day nappies that need to be boosted to the hilt to work as a night nappy. KKs are the opposite-  an excellent  night nappy which can be used with lighter boosting to make a daytime nappy if desired.      

KKs ( also known as Keester Kovers) ® are usuallyAIOs. AI2s do not have absorbent padding enclosed  between the outer and inner and so need a booster to work. An AIO, such as KK in MM fleece or PUL, has an outer and an inner and enclosed absorbent soaker and may if desired have a snap in  or lay in booster added. KKs come in all versions of nappy including fitteds and are suited to  both day and night wear but the fitteds will require a cover at night;we recommend our knitted soakers and longies .There is no microfibre in our products as it is notorious for compression leaks. Other KKs which are not AIOs are also sold by us, including fitteds and pockets which adapt to an AI2

Windpro and PUL KK AIOs normally may be ordered at any time  (Wool KK, embroidered KK, Minkee KK, Pocket KK and Fitteds are sold only from instock) but during March Nappy Hunt will only be available from instocks. Knits are  sold by orders at any time

KeesterKovers® sell as fast as we can make them and currently we can not list stock as it sells before we can get it on the web site. KKs are only made by one person, at her home here in Qld. Most feature the special branded KK snap.

There is NO hidden PUL in  KKs as they are made from Malden Mills Windpro or heavyweight fleece and do not require it. In fact adding PUL to  MM quality fleece may reduce or negate the breathability of the fleece.Although known as a great night AIO KK's are perfectly suitable for a daytime AIO as well and are very absorbent yet fast drying.

(AIOs made with cotton, knitted fabrics,flannelette etc, or lightweight and cheap fleece as the outer layer and a hidden layer of PUL, as well as those made from laminated cotton fabric outers  are  usually classed as daytime AIOs as they are more prone to wicking due to the outer being made of absorbent fabric. Night time AIOs require top quality fleece such as Malden Mills windpro, or Poly Pul to prevent wicking when used for longer periods.)

All KK nappies (Keester Kovers)® are easily identified by their special snap configuration  ( <  >  ) which prevents wing droop. This snap configuration was created especially for Keester Kovers and we ask you to respect that and check with us  before using a  similar design.

Products are owned and made in Australia exclusively  by an Australian Wahm. They include the wonderful windpro AIO,which is an excellent day or night time AIO, plus the Pul AIO's , again suitable for day or night, Wool AIO, Daytime AIO's, KwikDry AIO's and  Fitteds including hemp.The exclusive 3-snap configuration ( except on small size) helps protect against saggy wings.Snaps on the front panel are concealed. Only Malden Mills fleece 300wt or windpro is used for the outers of  fleece AIOs; these are the only weights we find suitable for night AIO without needing to add extra layers;this is the reason our AIOs work so well at night yet are quick drying; and MM ,Tonitex and suedecloth for the inners of all AIO's.There are no concealed layers, just a hidden soaker of BKT, (imported burley knit terry) which also dries fast.We do not use microfibre in our products and do not recommend it. Daytime AIO's and KwikDry AIO's have  pul or decorative outers and microfleece or suedecloth inners. Plain Jane™ is a PUL AIO. Items include as standard  snap in bamboo booster.There is room to add bamboo or hemp for additional night boosting if needed. These AIO's do not need a cover and because we use the windpro and 300wt fleece no inner layer of pul is required.Wool AIO has our special original registered design boostable booster  similar to the one sold with many of our Ceejays.

Crossover snaps can be added at time of purchase if required- it will slightly spoil the look of the nappy when not in use but will not affect the way it works and may allow a better fit for small waisted bubs.

KeesterKovers® work extremely well as a night nappy;their regular sizing allows for additional boosting without leaks and without the need for a cover. They are a true AIO- meaning the one unit is a nappy within itself and can be used alone.However additional boosting in the form of snap ins can be added if desired. Remember though that they are also a daytime nappy; there is hidden boosting within the nappy and you can use a lighter  weight booster for daytime use.

We use NEW MATERIALS only in all our products and they are made in smoke free and pet free homes.We would like to stress that although we use a professional snap press and check snaps when they are applied,snaps can sometimes come off a nappy. We would ask that you "unsnap" all products, rather than ripping the snaps open. This should minimise the risk but if you do have a problem please contact us and we will arrange repair.

Size can vary slightly with different fabrics- below is a guide only

Small   Up to 6.5 kg- no longer making this size

Med    6 - 9+kg- no longer making this size

MedLong 6.5 -11 kg (if you consider your child a heavy wetter I would suggest opting for large, (unless the child is very slender) as this  would allow for  more boosting)

Lge     9 - 13.5 + kg

XLge  13.5kg and over- special order only, in most cases ML or Lge will fit

Med Long is suited to babies in the med weight range with a long rise, or those in the large range who are fairly slender. It's length is between a medium and a large with width of medium and allows more space for the extra night boosting. Med Long and Large are the two most commonly used sizes. If bub is solid, a large may be better, if bub is slender then opt for med long.  X Lge is a big nappy and may need a crossover wing snap
