Oct 08 Due to an increase in non paying buyers the following strictly applies:

I reply to your emails usually within 24 hours; If I do not receive acknowledgement within 48 hours of sending that email I will send a reminder; if no response is forthcoming within the following 24 hours I will assume the order is cancelled; however it saves  valuable time if you advise me promptly if you have changed your mind.

Items purchased from instock will be shipped within 48 hours of payment being received in our bank.I will email you  with postage costs and bank deposit details. Direct Deposit is the preferred form of payment. Payments made by paypal will incur a small fee.

I prefer to ship in white mailing satchels, not prepaids. This allows me to keep a record of postage date. Once the parcel has been posted I am not responsible for  any postal delays or failure of parcel to arrive. All information refers to parcels posted within Australia.

GST is NOT charged on  products, but I do add postage. This is often less than the true postal cost, and I do not charge packaging or handling fees.From October to the end of the year regular postage will be capped at $5 for up to 2 nappies.

KKs currently sold only from Instock-until end of the year. Most Knits can be ordered at any time- please read the respective pages to see which items are exceptions, or email me.

If you have concerns about mail deliveries you may request registered mail, which is $2.70 extra. However I have never lost a parcel sent by Australia Post, but please check you have given the correct address details.

I do pack  products in clear plastic bags; this is only to try to protect the item while it is in transit. I have on several occasions received parcels packaged only in paper, or just in a mailing satchel, where the fabric or item has been torn or damaged.

Payment is required to reach my bank within 3 business days of placement of order or item will be returned to stock.This applies also if emails requesting payment are repeatedly ignored.If you need additional time to pay please contact Possum Pouches and I can usually work something out. If I have not received payment after 3 days or a satisfactory response after notification of payment due the item will be relisted.

OOAKs must be paid within the above time frame, no extensions permitted.

I will always try to help with special payment requests as long as I am contacted, preferably prior to purchase. 

Emails sent on weekends will most likely not be answered until Monday

Items that available for immediate sale (instocks) or offered in an email communication will be held for  up to 48 hours; if further communication has not been received they may be offered to someone else. Possum Pouches request that you do answer our emails promptly so I know your decision. If you have enquired about a product please check your spam folders as sometimes mail disappears into those.

Custom Order prices will be advised by email

All custom orders will require a minimum of 50% of the  full price prior to commencement and orders can not be cancelled once we have begun making the item. Balance is due within 3 days of completion

Please check your spam folder for a reply. I normally respond to emails within 48 hours (however note changes to times at bottom of this page). To enable you to retain your place in the queue I need a response within a similar time frame.

RETURNS etc: Possum Pouches will accept for  refund,exchange  or store credit a nappy or knit (only if bought directly from Possum Pouches) that is the incorrect size, as long as it is unwashed and unworn and in resaleable condition, and within 7 days of receipt. Please contact me  before returning the item. If you have any questions at all please do contact me as I pride myself on the fact I can  give personal service, and am happy to help each person individually with any concerns or special needs.  Changing your mind is not a reason to request a refund. Items will be inspected on their return and if there is any doubt about their usage a refund may not be forthcoming so please only return unwashed and unworn items .

   I will repair or replace faulty items(bought new from Possum Pouches only) for a period of 2 months from date of sale;however if the item is found to have been damaged by incorrect care procedures or use, a fee may be incurred. If you have any problem or query relating to your nappy please contact me  first so I can help to work out a solution. Each case  is judged separately.

Items bought second hand  do not qualify for normal repair and replacement rules.Please bear this in mind if you are considering buying a used item.

SECONDS: Occasionally I offer items as seconds, if there is a slight mark or colour variation for example, but only if the overall performance will not be affected. I would request that if you onsell this item when your child has finished with /outgrown it, that you advise any possible purchaser that it was sold to you as a second, and the reason.

Aqua blue marks which may sometimes be visible especially on boosters are made from wash out marking pens and will disappear in the washing process. 

BONUS ITEMS: From time to time I give bonus items, prizes, or items for which  proceeds are given to charity. If you receive one of these items and decide you no longer need it I would be pleased if you would consider either giving it away or donating proceeds to a charity organisation.

PRIVACY: Possum Pouches will not pass on your information to any third party unless it is deemed necessary by a person of appropriate authority.

 I try to answer emails within 48 hours, but due to the large amount of mail I receive I am finding  computer time is taking up valued sewing time. Therefore I am trying to cut back to answering emails once per day, excluding weekends when replies may take a little longer. If I am away longer than 48 hours I will make a note on theContact page
